Based on a true story, Ealing's wondrous and effervescent tale of a remote Scottish Island's inhabitants unwittingly having fallen foul of a total lack of their national tipple when salvation seemingly arrives in the form of a wrecked cargo ship holding a lifetimes supply. Rescuing the booty is one thing; hiding the precious stuff from the mainland authorities who come looking is an entirely different matter.
There will be a free whisky tasting in the foyer before the screening.
